2 Millimeters
The life of your dreams may be 2 millimeters away
The Little Things Matter
I have written about a recent, and first time, experience in a virtual Tony Robbins event. Still unpacking all of it.
One piece that I keep coming back too is this idea of small changes having big impact.
Across all days, energy was a major focus. And how to increase energy.
At one point, the leader/facilitator talked about posture and took us through this exercise:
Stand up. Straight. Breathe. Ground yourself. Eyes open. Feel the energy.
Feel your chest, find that spot where your ribs split - your sternum. Feel that.
Now roll forward and down, and shift the position of your sternum by about 2 millimeters. What do you feel? What do you notice?
KS: it was profound actually. That shift, caused my shoulders to roll over, my head to droop, my entire posture COLLAPSED.
That 2 millimeter shift shut down all the energy, I was diminished.
Now shift your sternum back up by 2 millimeters. Shoulders back. Breathe. Ground.
What do you notice?
KS: Like a switch it all comes back online.
Try it yourself.
2 millimeters…to the life of your dreams?
Yes, that’s a dramatic statement AND there’s truth to it.
The more time we spend standing upright, energized, grounded, on task, focused, and moving forward…the closer what we want in life gets.
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.” James Clear
In this world of “phones” which are portals to anything, these tiny distances really have an impact.
At the literal swipe of a thumb…
What are you choosing with your attention?
Where are you spending your coins?

Powerful concept. I really enjoy and find value in the hyperlinks to past posts. This post paired well with the 168 coin concept and I felt the impact. Thank you.
